OUR PARTNERS IN NAMIBIA
Namibia is a country of contrasting landscapes- from the oldest desert on earth, predator-rich game reserves, and rugged mountain ranges to modern cities and coastal resort towns. Windhoek, Namibia’s capital city and gateway to the region, has an international airport and a host of visitor-friendly facilities. Swakopmund, on the northwest coast, is a premier holiday destination and the ideal base from which to explore the Namib Desert. Sea kayaking, paragliding and sand boarding are all popular activities in this eclectic town. No trip to southern Namibia is complete without visiting the awe-inspiring Fish River Canyon, the impressive quivertree forest, the majestic red dunes of Sossusvlei, and the exquisite mountain ranges of the Richtersveld. In the north, Etosha National Park is not to be missed: it is home to hundreds of species including large elephant and lion populations that all gather around the vast saltpan, Etosha. The unforgiving Skeleton Coast, called the “coast of hell” by Portuguese seafarers, never fails to impress with its dramatic vistas and haunting sites of shipwrecks.
